Welcome to Calgary Nature Kindergarten!

At Calgary Nature Kindergarten, we believe that learning should be an adventure! Our publicly funded program is designed to follow the Alberta Education Kindergarten curriculum, ensuring that your child receives a quality education while having fun in the great outdoors.

Program Details

• Full Day Program: We run from 9 AM to 3 PM.
• Schedule: Classes are held 2 days a week, plus alternating Fridays.

Our Unique Approach

Our teaching style is inspired by two wonderful philosophies:

• The Reggio Emilia approach, which encourages creativity and exploration.
• The Forest & Nature School ethos, which connects children with the natural world.

We create a warm and inviting environment that reflects the best practices of both approaches. Here, children and staff spend most of their day learning and playing in a beautiful natural outdoor setting. When the weather gets extreme, we have a cozy indoor classroom ready for project development and activities.
