Nestled within the beautiful Island Public Science School on the Toronto Island, Gibraltar Point Day Nursery is a delightful non-profit preschool program designed for little explorers aged 2.5 to 4 years old. Here, we believe that learning should be fun and engaging, which is why we offer a play-based, emergent curriculum that encourages children to discover the world around them.

Nature and Outdoor Exploration

At Gibraltar Point, we have a special focus on nature and outdoor exploration. Our little ones have the chance to play, learn, and grow in a vibrant environment that connects them with the beauty of the outdoors. Whether it’s a sunny day or a breezy afternoon, there’s always something exciting to discover!

Our Schedule

We operate from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, providing a nurturing space for your child to thrive during the day. Please note that we do not offer before or after school care, allowing us to focus entirely on the time your child spends with us.

Getting Here

Transportation to and from the island is a breeze, thanks to the convenient bus and ferry services. We make sure that your child’s journey to our nursery is as smooth and enjoyable as their time spent here.
