At Clare’s Little Stars Preschool & Afterschool Service, we believe that every child is a shining star! Established in 2013, our cozy, privately owned preschool is nestled in the heart of Ballybofey, Co Donegal, Ireland. We are dedicated to providing a warm and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow through play.

Our Hours

We are open from 9 AM to 6:30 PM throughout the school year, making it easy for families to fit us into their busy schedules. Rest assured, we are fully insured and follow all Irish quality and regulatory guidelines to ensure your child's safety and well-being.

Free Early Childhood Education

We are proud to offer the Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) programme at no cost for children aged 2.8 to 6 years. This means your little ones can enjoy a fantastic start to their educational journey without any financial worries!

Afterschool Fun

For our school-going friends aged 4 to 12.5 years, we also provide an exciting afterschool program. Here, children can unwind, play, and explore after a day at school.

A Child-Centered Curriculum

Our curriculum is guided by the Aistear framework, which focuses on a child-centered approach. This means that we encourage children to make choices about their play, fostering independence and creativity. Our highly qualified staff, who are Garda vetted and degree-led, are here to support and inspire your child's learning every step of the way.
