Laochra Beaga is a warm and inviting full-day care setting that opened its doors in 2021. We proudly cater to little ones aged 2 years and 8 months to 6 years, providing a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and feel safe.

Our Approach

At Laochra Beaga, we believe in creating a home-like atmosphere. Here, every child is encouraged to explore and discover the world around them. Our curriculum is designed to prepare children for primary school, focusing on essential skills such as:

• Literacy
• Numeracy
• Irish language

We incorporate play and engaging activities into our daily routine, making learning fun and exciting!

Our Team

Our dedicated staff members are highly qualified, each holding at least a Level 5 childcare qualification. They are also Garda vetted, ensuring a safe and secure environment for your child. We are committed to continuous professional development, so our team is always learning and growing to provide the best care possible.

Quality Care

We understand the importance of quality, curriculum-based childcare for your child's social and academic progress. While we don't specifically label our program as Montessori, traditional, religious, or international, our activities and goals reflect a traditional approach to early childhood education.
