Nestled in the heart of Athy, Co. Kildare, Tir na nÓg Early Years Care & Educational Centre has been a cherished part of our community since 1996. We are a private childcare facility dedicated to nurturing young minds and hearts.

Who We Cater To

We warmly welcome children aged 12 months to 12 years. Our child-centred environment is designed to respect and celebrate diversity, focusing on the holistic development of each child.

We take pride in our high standards and have been honored with numerous awards over the years. Our dedicated team is led by Kathleen Cash, a qualified Montessori teacher who is passionate about early childhood education.

Teacher-to-Child Ratios

To ensure personalized attention, we maintain a supportive teacher-to-child ratio:

• 1:5 for our youngest children
• 1:11 for our senior preschool classes
