• Elderly Carousel Ride: Recently, the center organized a fun carousel ride for elderly users in collaboration with the Associação do Monte Pedral and the Centro de dia da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa do Bom Pastor. This joyful event took place during the festivities of Senhora da Saúde in Arca de Água. The Associação do Monte Pedral provided transportation for some users and even created a video to document the experience.

• Christmas Lunch Celebration: The center hosted a Christmas lunch for its older users, creating a warm gathering space for social interaction, delicious food, and reunions. This event was a celebration of life and an important step towards the Nativity scene (Presépio).

Educational Engagement

• University of Porto Collaboration: On October 21, the center welcomed a group of students from the University of Porto. Adapting to the pandemic, the center established a connection through videoconferencing with students Beatriz, Nádia, and Miguel. They discussed topics such as the 'Liteiro' and the meaning of a 'rapioqueira.' The center plans to continue these bi-weekly exchanges, focusing on knowledge sharing, experiences, and physical exercise.

• Dia do Pijama: On Monday, the 22nd, the children celebrated 'Dia do Pijama' by wearing colorful pajamas and bringing houses with donations from their families. This day honors the right of every child to have a family, and the center expressed gratitude to everyone for their collaboration in making this event special.
