Welcome to Alderwood Early Childhood Center!

At Alderwood Early Childhood Center (AECC), we are proud to be a vibrant preschool community with around 212 happy students and counting! Our doors are open to children who live in the Lynnwood High and Mountlake Terrace High School attendance zones, making us a wonderful choice for families in the area.

Our Classrooms

AECC features ten inclusive preschool classrooms, each designed to create a nurturing and engaging environment for all our little learners. Here’s how we support our students:

• In 9 of our classrooms, a special education teacher takes the lead, ensuring that every child receives the attention and care they need.
• In 1 classroom, a general education teacher works alongside a special educator, providing a collaborative approach to learning. This team also supports the Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in that class, making sure everyone can thrive together.
