CHCP is all about inclusivity. We provide a nurturing space where children can learn important social, emotional, and intellectual skills through cooperative and creative play. Every child is encouraged to express themselves and explore the world around them.

Learning Together

Parents are an essential part of our community! Each month, we host a parent education program led by a knowledgeable educator from North Seattle College. This program is a fantastic opportunity for parents to learn about:

• Child development stages
• Common challenges that parents face
• A supportive space to ask questions and share experiences

Nature at the Heart of Learning

Our preschool is Nature Explore certified, which means we place a strong emphasis on outdoor learning. We have a welcoming and structured outdoor environment that encourages child-led exploration. Children can discover the wonders of nature while developing their curiosity and creativity.

A Day Full of Fun

Each day at CHCP is filled with exciting activities! We start with large motor play to get those little bodies moving. Then, it’s time for a delicious snack or lunch. After that, we dive into reading time, followed by discovery time where children can explore and learn through hands-on experiences. We wrap up the day with circle time, where we come together to share stories and ideas.
