General Information - East Dallas Developmental Center

Welcome to East Dallas Developmental Center!

For over 30 years, the East Dallas Developmental Center (EDDC) has been a cherished part of the East Dallas community, providing exceptional childcare in a nurturing and loving environment. As a non-profit center, we are dedicated to ensuring that every child feels safe, happy, and ready to learn.

At EDDC, we pride ourselves on our low teacher-to-child ratios, which means your little ones receive plenty of personal attention from our experienced staff. We care for children from infants to preschool age, focusing on building a strong foundation in four key areas:

  • Social Development: Helping children make friends and learn to share.
  • Cognitive Growth: Encouraging curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Emotional Skills: Teaching children to express their feelings and understand others.
  • Physical Development: Promoting active play and healthy habits.

Our goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond, ensuring they are ready to take on new challenges with confidence.

We believe that parents are an essential part of our community, and we encourage your involvement through various events and fundraisers. Together, we can create a wonderful experience for your child and foster a strong sense of community.

Join us at EDDC, where every child is valued, and every day is an adventure!

Please note that preschool data is collected and handled in a semi-automatic way by the TotMap team. If you find any inaccuracies, please contact us.
