Welcome to Julia Green Elementary School!

Nestled in the heart of Metro Nashville, Julia Green Elementary School is a vibrant part of the Metro Nashville Public Schools family. We proudly offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, creating a rich and engaging learning environment for our students in grades K-5.

One of the exciting features of our curriculum is Chinese language instruction, which is provided to all students. This not only enhances their language skills but also opens doors to new perspectives and opportunities.

Extracurricular Activities and Events

Learning at Julia Green goes beyond the classroom! We host a variety of extracurricular activities and special events, such as our beloved Read-a-Thon, which inspires a lifelong love of reading and learning.

School Day and Community Involvement

Our school day runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a structured yet nurturing environment for our students. We are proud to be part of the Hillsboro Cluster in District 8, where community and collaboration thrive.

We highly value parent involvement at Julia Green. There are many ways for parents to engage with our school, whether it’s volunteering in classrooms, supporting us financially, or joining committees. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a crucial role in enhancing educational experiences and building a strong school community. They provide essential funding for programs, initiatives, and supplies that are not covered by MNPS.

The PTO has an Executive Board that meets monthly, along with a Finance Committee that meets twice a year to manage our budget effectively.
