Nestled in the heart of San Francisco, La Scuola International School is a vibrant private preschool that welcomes children from preschool through grade 8. What makes us truly special? We are proud to be the only IB World School in the city, offering both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP).

At La Scuola, we embrace the Reggio Emilia approach, which means we focus on inquiry-based learning. This encourages our little learners to explore, ask questions, and collaborate with their peers. Every day is an adventure filled with hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and creativity!

One of our standout features is our Italian language immersion program. Starting in preschool, children are surrounded by a 90% Italian environment. As they grow, we gradually introduce more English, reaching a balanced 50/50 ratio by grade 5. Don’t worry if your child doesn’t know Italian yet; we welcome everyone! While we start evaluating language skills from grade 2, preschoolers can jump right in without any prior knowledge.
