Nestled in the heart of Martineztown, Longfellow Elementary School holds a special place in the community as the first Elementary School in the Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) district, proudly established in 1893.

At Longfellow, we believe in nurturing young minds through a rich blend of education and creativity. Our school is a Dual Language institution, where children have the exciting opportunity to learn in both English and Spanish, helping them become confident communicators in a diverse world.

We also shine in the Fine Arts, with a special focus on Drama. Our students explore their artistic talents, express themselves, and build confidence through engaging performances and creative projects.
