At Lotus Preschool, we are proud to be part of the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin, a cherished temple that has been a beacon of community since 1902. Nestled in the heart of Nihonmachi (Japantown), we honor our rich Japanese heritage while embracing everyone who walks through our doors.

Our temple is a part of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA), which connects us to a global family of temples within the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha. This beautiful tradition of Pure Land Buddhism teaches us the importance of compassion, understanding, and community.
