Established in 1966 by the caring community of Metropolitan Memorial United Methodist Church, Metropolitan Nursery School is a warm and inviting preschool located in the heart of Washington, DC. Here, we believe that every child is unique, and we celebrate their individual learning styles in a play-based and nurturing environment.

Our Programs

We offer engaging programs for children aged 18 months to 4 years old. With a small student-teacher ratio of 5:1, your little ones will receive plenty of personal attention and support as they explore and learn.

Daily Schedule

Admissions are conducted through a lottery system, with priority given to church members and current families. We strive to make the process fair and accessible for everyone.
