At the Nathaniel Jones Early Learning Center (NJELC), we believe that every child deserves a joyful and enriching start to their educational journey. Our preschool program is designed to nurture young minds and prepare them for a bright future, all while following the same calendar as Pike Township Schools.

Who Can Join Us?

Our doors are open to Pike residents and children of Pike employees. We are proud to be a Paths to QUALITY Level 3 Provider, ensuring that your child receives the best care and education possible. Plus, we accept On My Way Pre-K grants, making it easier for families to access our wonderful program.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is thoughtfully crafted around the Indiana Foundations for Young Children, focusing on essential skills that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond. We create a fun and engaging learning environment where children can explore, discover, and grow.

Caring Staff and Class Sizes

We understand the importance of personal attention in early education. That's why we maintain a low staff-to-student ratio:

• 1:10 for our 3-year-olds
• 1:12 for our 4-year-olds This ensures that each child receives the care and support they need to thrive.

Delicious Meals

We believe that healthy meals are an important part of a child's day. That's why we partner with Chartwells food services to provide nutritious meals that keep our little learners energized and ready to explore.

Location for 2024-2025

Exciting changes are coming! For the 2024-2025 school year, our three-year-olds preschool program will be held at Guion Creek Elementary School. However, during enrollment, parents should still select Early Learning Center as their child's school.
