At Perea Preschool, we believe that every child deserves a joyful and enriching start to their educational journey. Located in the heart of Memphis, TN, our public charter school offers a wonderful two-year program designed specifically for three and four-year-olds.

Our Learning Approach

We follow the HighScope Model, which means we focus on active learning. Here, children have the freedom to make choices, explore their interests, and engage with materials that spark their curiosity. Our dedicated teachers provide support and guidance, helping little ones develop their language skills and confidence.

• Numbers Plus Mathematics to make math enjoyable.
• HighScope Growing Readers to foster a love for reading.
• ABeka Bible Curriculum to introduce important values and stories.

Nurturing Social-Emotional Health

At Perea, we understand that emotional well-being is just as important as academic success. That’s why we prioritize social-emotional health through our Settle Your Glitter program. This initiative helps children learn about self-regulation and emotional intelligence, equipping them with the tools they need to express their feelings and interact positively with others.

With a low 8:1 student-teacher ratio, our teachers can give each child the attention they deserve. We also offer after-school care based on the HighScope Curriculum, providing a safe and engaging environment for working parents.
