Welcome to Sky Valley Cooperative Preschool!

At Sky Valley Parent Co-op Preschool, we believe in nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. As a non-profit, parent cooperative program, we create a warm and welcoming environment where children can grow and learn at their own pace.

Our Play-Based Learning Approach

We offer a play-based curriculum filled with exciting and age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Here’s a glimpse of what your child will explore:

• Music: Sing, dance, and discover the joy of sound!
• Art: Let their imagination run wild with colors and crafts.
• Science: Engage in fun experiments that make learning about the world exciting.
• Early Literacy & Language: Build a love for reading and communication through stories and games.
• Dramatic Play: Encourage creativity and social skills through role-playing.
• Motor Skills: Develop fine and gross motor skills with hands-on activities.
• Social-Emotional Skills: Learn to express feelings and build friendships.

Outdoor Adventures and Field Trips

We believe that learning doesn’t just happen indoors! Our preschool incorporates outdoor experiences and takes frequent local field trips to help children connect with the world around them.

Our Programs

We offer three wonderful programs tailored to different age groups:

• Orcas Class: For children aged 4-5 years, meeting three days a week.
• Harbor Seals Class: For children aged 3-5 years, meeting two days a week. (A traditional preschool option is also available here, where parent involvement is not required.)
• Otters Class: For our youngest learners, aged 18 months to 3 years, meeting one or two days a week.

Parent Involvement

At Sky Valley, parents play a vital role in our community! We encourage parents to get involved by volunteering in the classroom, participating in fundraising activities, and attending monthly meetings. Together, we create a supportive and enriching environment for our children.
