Welcome to the Center for Young Children!

At the Center for Young Children (CYC), located right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis on the beautiful campus of Indiana University Indianapolis, we are excited to offer year-round daycare programs for little ones aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Our center is a warm and welcoming place for both university families and the wider Indianapolis community.

A Safe and Nurturing Environment

CYC is proud to be licensed as a Level 3 facility on the Paths to Quality program, ensuring that we meet high standards of care and education. We also accept CCDF and On-My-Way Pre-K program vouchers, making our services accessible to many families.

Learning Through Play

At CYC, we believe that learning should be fun! Our approach focuses on learning through play, where children engage in hands-on activities and explore their surroundings. We know that play is essential for young minds, and we create an environment that encourages curiosity and discovery.

Exciting STEM Opportunities

For our older children, ages 4-5, we offer a special STEM Pre-K program. This program is designed to spark interest in science, technology, engineering, and math through exciting projects and activities that make learning come alive!

Building Strong Relationships

We understand how important it is for children to form strong bonds with their caregivers, especially in our infant and toddler programs. Our dedicated staff is here to nurture these relationships, providing a loving and supportive atmosphere for every child.

Our Facilities

CYC features 14 bright and engaging classrooms, along with 4 spacious multi-use areas where children can explore and play. We also have two separate playgrounds that are perfect for outdoor fun and physical activity!

Delicious and Nutritious Meals

To keep our little ones energized, we provide meals through Chartwells, ensuring that they are not only delicious but also cater to most dietary restrictions.
