Eastman Avenue Elementary School is a lively and nurturing place where children have been learning and growing since 1923. This year, we are excited to celebrate our 100-year anniversary!

At Eastman Avenue, we take pride in being a leader in bilingual education. Our 90/10 Dual Language program helps students succeed academically while also deepening their understanding of different cultures and languages.

This year, our theme is all about kindness, harmony, and joy, inspired by the beloved Care Bears. We believe that a happy heart leads to a happy mind!

Play and Learn

At Eastman Avenue, we know that play is an important part of learning. That’s why we partner with Playworks to promote active play and help children develop social skills during recess and lunch.

Grow and Create

We also care about our planet! Our Garden Ranger Program gets every child involved in gardening, STEM science, and art, teaching them about environmental awareness and sustainable living.

Shine in the Arts

Our commitment to the arts shines through in our Performing Arts program, in partnership with the Music Center. We have a school orchestra and a fifth-grade ballroom dancing program that has won the Gold Medal four times in competitions with other district schools!
