Programs and Activities

• Collaborative planning between preschool educators and 1st Cycle teachers for children aged 5, through a workshop called "Project 5" focusing on Portuguese Language and Mathematics.
• Weekly sessions lasting 45 minutes starting in January, aimed at preparing children for compulsory schooling.

Operating Hours

• General Hours: 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
• Secretariat Hours:
  • 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

• In-person visits to the secretariat require a 24-hour prior appointment and are available on Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Health and Safety Measures

• All teaching and non-teaching staff tested negative for COVID-19 as part of the first phase of resuming in-person activities.
• Testing took place at a screening center in Queimódromo, Porto, ensuring the safety of the staff and children.
• The daycare reopened on May 18, 2020, following the deconfinement schedule.
