Preschool Registration Information for 2024-2025

• Registration Packet Request: Available by contacting the office.

Preschool Registration Information for 2025-2026

• Enrollment Age: 3-5 years old for Columbiana County residents.
• Waitlist: 5-year-olds eligible for Kindergarten will be waitlisted until June 1st.
• Registration Opening Date: February 13, 2025.
• Registration Process: Online through FinalForms; no printed packets available.

Required Steps for Registration:

1. Create an account on FinalForms, complete the registration packet, and apply for the Early Childhood Education Grant.
2. Upload required documentation to FinalForms.
3. Bring the following documents to the ESC office:
   • Original/Certified Birth Certificate
   • Copies of W-2s or two consecutive paystubs (for free/reduced tuition)
   • Proof of Residency
   • Parent/Guardian Driver’s License or State ID
   • Custody Paperwork or Court Documents (if applicable)
   • Signed Physician Medical Statement and immunization record by 08/20/2025

Class Rosters Development:

• Order of priority for class rosters:
  1. Preschool Special Education Students
  2. Early Childhood Education Grant Students
  3. Tuition-based students ages 3-4 based on application submission date
  4. Kindergarten eligible students based on availability after the first three categories are filled.

Employment Opportunities

• Positions Available: Full-time, part-time, and substitute paraeducators.
• Wages: Starting at $13 an hour.
• Schedule: No weekends or evenings.

• Drive to Succeed Program: Offering scholarships in partnership with the Columbiana County Business Advisory Council and Sheriff's Office.
• Participation in National Disability Employment Awareness Month: Campaign in October.

Recognition

• High Performing ESC Designation: Received from the Ohio Department of Education for 9 consecutive years.
• Cost Savings: Generated total cost savings of at least 5% for client school districts for primary services.
